FAQs About HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical Service in Washington Township, NJ

Is Good2Go a local HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company in Washington Township, NJ?

Yes. Good2Go is headquartered at 630 Delsea Drive (Route 47) in the Sewell section of Washington Township, so our technicians start every workday right here in town. We are a local, family-owned company that started out of a shed in a backyard and has grown into a 15,000-square-foot facility with more than 50 employees, and we have never stopped serving our own neighbors. Being based in the township means shorter drive times to Turnersville, Hurffville, Grenloch, Bunker Hill, and every neighborhood in between. Our managers all came up through the field, so the people leading our technicians have done the work themselves. HVAC work is performed under owner Anthony Botte’s New Jersey HVAC license, with plumbing and electrical work handled by our licensed master plumber and master electrician.

My mailing address says Sewell, Turnersville, or Blackwood. Am I in Washington Township, and does Good2Go serve my home?

You may well be, and either way, Good2Go serves your home. Township lines and ZIP code lines don’t match up, so many Washington Township homes carry a Sewell (08080) or Turnersville/Blackwood (08012) mailing address, and some homes near the township’s edges use Sicklerville (08081), Williamstown (08094), or Glassboro (08028) ZIP codes. The township also includes long-standing communities such as Hurffville, Grenloch, Bunker Hill, Chapel Heights, and Bells Lake. The easiest way to confirm your municipality is to check your property tax bill. Whatever your envelope says, Good2Go provides HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service to all of these addresses, along with the rest of Gloucester County and neighboring Camden County.

What should I do if another contractor left my furnace or HVAC system unfinished?

Stop using the system, don’t try to put it back together yourself, and book a licensed HVAC contractor to diagnose the real problem before any more parts are replaced. Take photos of what was left behind and gather any paperwork or invoices from the previous company so the next technician knows what was done. If you ever smell gas, leave the house and call 911 or your gas utility from outside. Good2Go steps into these situations often. In one case, a homeowner was left with no heat after her previous company took her entire furnace apart, left it in pieces to go get parts, and never came back. Owner Anthony Botte personally went out, assessed the system, got the needed parts, and had her heat back on within a few hours. Hearing “I wish I had called you first” is why we do this work.

Should I repair or replace my furnace or air conditioner in Washington Township?

Replacement usually makes more sense than repair when a furnace is 15 to 20 years old or an AC or heat pump is 10 to 15 years old, when a single repair approaches half the cost of a new system, or when breakdowns are becoming a yearly event. Other signs include rising energy bills, rooms that never feel comfortable, and older AC systems that still run on R-22 refrigerant, which is no longer produced in the U.S. and is expensive to recharge. Much of Washington Township’s housing was built between the late 1980s and the mid-2000s, so many homes are still running original or second-generation equipment that is at or past its expected lifespan. Good2Go explains what is going on, walks you through every option, and will tell you when a repair is the smarter call. When replacement is the right move, 0% financing is available on qualifying installations.

How often should I service my HVAC system in Washington Township?

Schedule professional HVAC maintenance twice a year: a heating tune-up in the fall before the first cold snap, and a cooling tune-up in the spring before South Jersey’s humid summers set in. Between visits, check or replace your air filter every one to three months, more often if you have pets or allergies. A tune-up includes cleaning and testing key components, checking safety controls and electrical connections, measuring refrigerant and airflow, and catching small issues like a weak capacitor or clogged condensate drain before they turn into a no-heat or no-cool call. Good2Go’s Go2Membership plans build this schedule in for you. Go2Basic, Go2Plus, and Go2Elite cover heating and cooling, while Go2Complete extends whole-home maintenance to your HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Do I need a water softener or filtration system for my Washington Township home?

Not necessarily, and the only way to know is to test your water first. Water quality varies from home to home depending on whether you are on public water or a private well and on the age and material of your plumbing. Common South Jersey issues include mineral scale, iron or orange staining, chlorine taste and odor, and acidic (low-pH) water that can slowly corrode copper pipes and lead to pinhole leaks. Warning signs include white crust on faucets and showerheads, spotty dishes, stained fixtures, dry skin, and a water heater that rumbles or loses efficiency early. If you are on public water, your utility’s annual water quality report is a good free starting point. Good2Go’s plumbers can test your water and recommend the right water conditioning or filtration system, which also helps protect your water heater and fixtures.

When does a Washington Township home need an electrical panel upgrade?

A home needs an electrical panel upgrade when the panel can no longer safely handle the household’s electrical load or shows warning signs of wear. Watch for breakers that trip frequently, lights that dim when the AC or a large appliance starts, a panel that feels warm or makes buzzing sounds, and service rated at 100 amps or less. Older panel brands with known safety concerns, such as Federal Pacific Stab-Lok and Zinsco, should be evaluated even if they seem to work fine. Planned upgrades also trigger the need, including adding a Level 2 EV charger, switching to a heat pump, installing a whole-home generator, or finishing a basement. Most homes today are upgraded to 200-amp service. In New Jersey, panel replacements require a permit and inspection under the Uniform Construction Code, and Good2Go’s licensed electricians handle that process for you.

Does Good2Go offer emergency HVAC and plumbing service in Washington Township?

Yes. Good2Go provides emergency heating, cooling, and plumbing service throughout Washington Township, and our team is available 24/7 for heating and AC emergencies. Because we are based in the township, our technicians are close by when it matters most. While you wait, a few steps can limit the damage. For a burst pipe or major leak, shut off your home’s main water valve, which is usually where the water line enters the basement, crawl space, or utility closet, and turn off your water heater. For no heat, check the thermostat batteries and settings, the furnace breaker, and the air filter. If you smell burning from an outlet or panel, switch off that circuit only if it is safe to do so, and call 911 if you see smoke. You can book emergency service online any time through the Good2Go website.

I initially tried to call another plumber I had used in the past. They didn’t have anyone on call tonight. I had used Botte for another issue recently. Customer Service was great. I got a text with the photo of my plumber. Steve Miller is an awesome, knowledgeable professional. I was amazed at how quickly he arrived. Really happy I used your service tonight. Pricing was fair. I will use you again and recommend you to others

Had a great experience with A.M. Botte Plumbing, a.k.a. Good2go. We've had issues on and off for years with our tub drain backing up. Melvin, the plumber they sent out (same day service!), switched out a few existing pipes explaining that what we had were not the correct type for tub drainage. In doing so, he also provided easy access from our basement for us to troubleshoot future, minor backups ourselves. This may not seem like a big deal, but, as someone who likes to be self sufficient, this is a BIG DEAL to me. While he was here I asked for an estimate on replacing our ancient sewage main. He walked me through what would have to be done and provided an estimate, in writing, on the spot. I will, of course, get some other estimates, but I'd be very happy to hire this company again, for any plumbing need. Their service was fast and thorough and pricing was good. Highly recommend!

I wrote this post last winter and apparently, I didn’t post it: I’m a new customer to AMBotte. My first service with them was a result of my pipes freezing. They gave me the same attention that I would have expected as a long term customer. More recently, I had them service my tankless hot water heater. I like the appointment reminders that they give and then they identify the technician that is coming and they let you know when he’s on his way. I look forward to our future relationship doing business with them. On 10/13/26, I needed service for another issue and Tony Rosa performed the service. He took care of the problem in a timely manner and the costs were as estimated. I needed to follow up and that was seemless
